China's Live & fresh fish ban happened weeks after the Trump ag deal which gave US exports priority to those of Aus.to the Chinese market.
Our Government has been slack in not publicly recognising that the Chinese 2020 bans on our exports follow the Trump January deal and that
the USA is replacing those exports.
Unlike the USA that had amazing leverage on China due to China's considerable exports to the USA, our only lever is Iron Ore and Scott
is a bit shy in doing a "Trump" with our Iron Ore.
The question is: Should we give them an offer they can't refuse (ala The Godfather) so that our China market access is restored to that of 2019
or will we whimper and nurse our economic wounds?
