Liberals may well lose the next election ----------- Labor will come in - the deck of cards will fall over because of the flow on effects from the boneheaded things Morrison has done with his total lack of diplomatic skills and Labor will get the blame because the economy is shot to shit
almost every time - it's the Libs who leave a disaster - then, Labor has to come in - rack up a huge bill to fix it - then, they get the blame for leaving a debt
Howards run was a classic ------------ he did absolutely bugger all for developing the nation - instead of upgrading ports, building dams and developing the infrastructure of Australia ------------ during a massive boom - he gave tax cuts to his mates ------ and, once to buy some cheap votes from labor - increased the baby bonus to obscene levels
it was such a global boom, that he still didn't run up a huge debt - but, bathed in the glory that he was a great leader
then, when he was given the boot - the stack of cards fell over - dams went dry, ports had hundreds of ships anchored offshore waiting to load - which should have been loaded in a timely manner and the proceeds put into a sovereign fund - but, no ----------- Labor couldn't do that because the infrastructure wasn't there -
they had to do emergency things like build desalinization plants - which, of course - when the drought ended - weren't needed
so, they have to do emergency measures - which would have saved Oz if needed - and, they had to do them because of the bloody mess the farm was left in ---------------- and, of course - at big cost - which is exactly what happens when you let the farm run down - it costs a bomb more to fix years of neglect
same thing is happening ------------ Labor will get sold the dummy again
