I was amazed whan I visited Sunlight (south of the Mersey) a few years ago and to see what a 19C Capitalist did for his community. The villiage is an amazing archietectural fete (non of our mining humpies here) of elegant Edwardian townhouses / detached houses complete with headlight and timber casement windows with social facilities such as the post Office, Pub , Library etc.
