Can Big Pharma be trusted with the cure for Covid and HIV?

Should BIT225 continue to safely kill SARS-CoV-2 and unmask HIV for the immune system to eradicate, is it ethical to be handing this over to a super-corporation for a few billion?

The CEO of Biotron has reported the pursuit of non-equity funding.
As in funding that does not give away ownership and control of the technology.
The Australian Government has been put up by many holders as a possible source.

Is this because Big Pharma is seen to have nothing to gain by curing HIV, but might be happy making trillions out of treatments designed to keep people alive but not cured?

Is this because they are making repeated billions designing vaccines targeting the Covid-19 protein most likely to mutate, therefore needing boosters and a constant supply of new variant vaccines when the virus does what evolution dictates?

Is this due to the possibility that Omicron is the result of a rushed mutagenic antiviral and a shoddy human trial?

Is this all just a mad conspiracy theory doing the rounds?

If so, let this thread die a natural death.

What if the new owners shelve it or claim it suddenly does not work in order to keep making trillions from unkillable, constantly mutating viruses?

Does Biotron, in combination with Australian Gov, CSIRO, and local businesses such as CSL have the means to make and distribute the cure for Covid-19 to the world?

    Thoughts anyone?
