Question is why would Cardiex want to emulate an inferior technology? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Omron's  wearable wrist watch band measures the brachial blood pressure (peripheral blood pressure) which can be +/-30mm from a central aortic blood pressure reading .. so  an individual relying on Omron's wearable could be seriously under or over normal range BP but not know it.

So someone wearing Omrons device gets a high or low BP the natural reaction is to become obsessed about it leading to elevated BP.
