Abbott promised so much and reassure votes would be so much better off but there was no way he would be able to deliver and now the cuts will come.

Polls already show votes are not happy with the LNP and while we are still some time away from an election at some point the Lib's will be in the same position as labor when they could see they had stuff all chance of winning an election with gillard.

I note the point in the article that Hockey is the one doing the heavy lifting, seems Abbott was never really prepared for the actual job of PM
