As I suggested they would, COE have damaged their own sp, the very thing they need to make the bid succeed. Don't think the drilling announcement is going to get them off the hook.
Would have held 39, probably 40 today without the bid.
Ironically they have shone the spotlight on IPM and it's assets, so perhaps as the next week or two progresses IPM sp will drag the COE sp back up.
Besides the 90%, the other bid condition, not falling below an implied value of 118 has been breached. It really was an opportunistic "Claytons" bid for great assets.
