FYI Note: The "Independent" Consumer Financial Ombudsman-AFCA- was established by an Act of Parliament. It's Inaugural Chair (also Chair of Crown Casino) Helen Coonan is a Political Appointee-appointed by current Liberal Gov't.
AFCA has 25,000 fee-paying Members. All Members-such as Credit Corp- must be Licenced by AFCA.
Financial Ombudsman must not only be Independent...but equally appear to be Independent: divorced from power-plays/extortion by likes of CCP.
