Delays with the A380 may be a blessing in disguise, the whole thing is turning into an enormous white elephant, and every time Airbus shoots themselves in the foot means QAN moves one step closer to cancelling.
If they do go ahead, then they will be entitled to millions in compensation and no doubt some sort of loyalty discount on this or future orders.
If they don't then they have to make some other capex purchase pretty quick smart to plug the capacity gap.
