Correct me if i'm wrong, but with the 50.1% acceptance condition of Lion, they CANNOT get the numbers.
We know HRR's and Lion existing holdings must be excluded in any calculation, so that takes approx 45% off the table, leaving 55% in play. We know Min have approx 15% of these already accepted (35% holding announced on the 25/11 minus the HRR component of this 19.8%).....so that leaves 40% "still in play" at best?....how do Lion hope to get 50%?
My point is the Lion offer is effectively dead is it not? (not that is was ever really fair dinkum anyway was it!?)
