It took me two years to get another after I took my last on his final journey, then I said "Never again" but the house wasn't the same so I searched for a small reclaimed dog and eventually found one in Cairns. Good move.
He is not so much a family pet as Mrs H's devoted fan, he is never away from her side. If she goes out he sulks in his bed 'til she comes home. But that's OK, her health is deteriorating and he will always be there by her side.
