It proved to me that ASIC are just paper shuffling desk jockeys that collect money from small business for name registrations ! It suites the city for them to be like this.

I had an advisor sell me the SGH story and even confirm that I should take shares in the placement, I averaged down (stupidly) and now sit on an unhealthy loss of six figures. Advisors should take their share of the blame as they soon scarpered when the leaks become greater and the impotence of the BOD gave fuel to the Fin and its shorters to keep hammering the price.
Panicked retail shareholders are how fortunes are made and lost no point blaming them they are always the last to know and arent in the boys about town loop. And to be honest most probably believe the Fin so make investment decisions based partly on what that paper says.

I hold only because my losses are too large to sell and in the vain hope that a new BODcan turn the coy around in the next 5yrs so I can chose a time to exit with a smaller loss.

My list would be :

SGH - arrogance, poor business acumen and impotent in the face of a crisis

Shorters - this can be tracked by authorities but wont be, it needs to be outlawed

Fin - for misinformaton and aiding and abetting above. I worked in the UK mecia for a long time and saw some shameful stuff but IMO this is up there.

Advisors - they are myth sellers and most even Hedge guys only have one cell and that operates their penis

ASIC - for being revenue collectors and not industry cops they pretend to be

There's one glaring omission in your list and that's people who bought the stock.
Short sellers should not be on the list, they should be in charge of AISIC or at least given support and funding to assist in detecting and destroying allegedly fraudulent businesses.
Also legal funding for when Muppet CEO's try to sue them.
