"Paul's credentials were verified by the results achieved."

By that do you mean his ideas, views, teaching and letters forming much of the basis of what you regard as "false religion" ?

Copper, when you see the remarkable transformation in the lives of many in the congregation in Corinth there is evidence of the holy spirit at work. Corinth was “a renowned and voluptuous city, where the vices of East and West met.” Halley’s Bible Handbook, 1988, H. H. Halley, page 593.

In the first century, the Greek geographer Strabo wrote: “Corinth is called ‘wealthy’ because of its commerce, since it is situated on the Isthmus and is master of two harbours, of which the one leads straight to Asia, and the other to Italy; and it makes easy the exchange of merchandise from both countries.” Every two years the renowned Isthmian Games brought vast crowds to Corinth.
“Its wealth,” it has been said, “was so celebrated as to be proverbial; so were the vice and profligacy of its inhabitants.” Among its pagan religious practices was the worship of Aphrodite (counterpart of the Roman Venus).
Smith’s Dictionary of the Bible, 1863, Vol. 1, page 353.
It is against this backdrop that Paul's worth as a minister should be assessed.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality,  thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.  And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.
