In Japan, when Hazer signed the MoU with Chiyoda, this spoke about biomethane and methane. It would make great sense to build plants with both inputs, given the LNG reliance locally.
Hazer has two patent applications ongoing in Japan. It’s a back and forth process with the examiners, reasonably advanced by now I should say. That the same two patents are already granted in other jurisdictions suggests this will work out OK. It’s just quite long-winded.
