    no, they can't. The ordinary shareholders have the voting rights.

    The senior lenders are debtholders which allow them to be paid before ordinary shareholders in case a company goes bankrupt.

    The ordinary shareholders are the onwer of the business and basically the relationship is we the ordinary shareholders have borrowed money from those senior lenders. They can liquidate the business but they do not have influence the business decision of a company.

    So let's vote against the deal. 100mil distributed first to junior lenders then shareholders will simply leave ordinary holders with nothing.

    We are the ultimately onwer of the company!!! So let's challenge how the directors who supposedly should work for us has ripped us off!!!

    These directors just sold the US assets when the us is close to the turning point. Those negative equity value is simply accounting measurement which does not actually represent the economic value of the assets. If the property recovers, those negative equity can suddenly becomes positive. I just have no idea why we pay hefty fees for the directors and investment bankers to simply rip us off.
