    Not too sure a salary cut for all will be acceptable and drive out staff. They need to be able to make the UK site closures and redundancies while maintaining morale (as much as possible) and retain key employees. A few other suggestions:

    - Run all support teams on the bare bones (Marketing, Finance, HR, Facilities and IT) through duplication removal, site consolidation and redundancies.
    - Remove all contractor roles and other positions that are not absolutely critical to the business.
    - Reduce advertising spend by at least 50 to 70%.
    - Merge all inbound contact centre roles to one single site (SGS or Manchester SGL?)
    - A full 12 month freeze on all unnecessary expenditure (travel, accommodation and IT equipment).
    - A full 12 month freeze on all pay rises and bonus schemes (across the board).

    Of course none of this helps staff morale which will be vital to accepting any such changes. Although unpalatable, staff may be on-board if there is a clear and concise plan and regular communication.
