Not too sure on that one Rich, but for most of the past 65+ years they (Indonesia) haven't necessarily been a destination for foreign investment. However the government is wanting to encourage investment to fuel Indonesian Growth and move them forward as a country as we've seen in many of the last asian economies in recent times (China, India etc)...

If this issue starts to become a black mark (and only continued media news will do this, or other companies pulling out due to the risks) then the government would have to consider stepping in.
