The initial rally was overdone and would have sent the Dow towards new highs a bit too quickly. No doubt a lot of shorts were blown out of the water which would add to the opening buying panic.
The reality is they aren't out of the woods yet with the credit crisis but solid steps are being taken to sort it out. I am bullish - they are climbing the wall of worry. If the market doesn't see any more worries it may well be at a top.
