KfW is a huge bank which provides several different lines of state backed funding. TNG would fall under the responsibility of KfW IPEX, which is responsible for export finance. As Germany's industry is mainly export focused, it is reasonable to assume that a large chunk of what they are lending out under the coming xxx Bn stimulus package will be available to finance international clients of companies like SMS.
Actually, TNG's chances to get fully funded probably have never been higher. To me, the key to success is to have the project ready for execution as soon as the German, Australian and NT government start their programs to kick-start the economy and create jobs. Let's make sure, we don't miss that train.
