Eastlink is truly a masterpiece, investors is starting to belief that the forecast numbers will be meet. I have just spoken to a colleague it what normally took him 45mins to see his relatives it now takes less than 15 mins. You have to understand that transport is not that great in the East and as a result most are heavily reliant on their cars, with the petrol price going up, you will undoubtfully save a lot of time and money.
Eastlink has the lowest toll price in Australia and the government is heavily involved in this project also. At its current share price you’ll get over a 10% return just on your dividends along.
All metals, oil and labour have increased substantially since the inception of EastLink, to build a tollway as grand as this would probably cost you twice as much. Good long-term hold, we should see $1.20 real soon.
With this market volatility and high deposit rates you’ll have to make a good case to invest in the share market, for investors who buys shares for their dividend CEU would have to be the safest choice of them all.
