A speeding ticket is where a company gets a notice from ASX to "please explain" why the sudden rise in share price. Not all companies with rapid rises get speeding tickets. Only ones that ASX think have risen too high, too quickly. There are plenty of companies out there that many of us think should get some at times but they do not. Very rarely do you see anything come from the speeding ticket except it just seems to slow down the rapid rises and lets the company know Asx is watching them.
