Given that the ATO requested further information concerning the ruling we know they are working on it.
FFX will wait until LLL has decided what they doing with T2 and whether any distribution will be made by LLL as a result. If so this will be added to the FFX cash distribution spoken about.
No doubt one of the models put together by the FFX tax accountants for the ATO included a scenario where further cash is received by LLL.
I suspect FFX already know what the LLL outcome will be.
Even if LLL land a 'big fish' Rier 1 resource i think they will pay a dividend to holders even if its only relatively small.
So IMO the timing of the FFX distribution will depend on what LLL do and how much cash they distribute and when. Hopefully its late this year. I cant see LLL finalizing an acquisition in a hurry.
