Sure, there is an underlying physical explanation but even your side of the argument could not explain why temperatures had not risen in the last 10 years and so now they have to throw in something new to explain it aerosol sulfides.
We can say natural variation is an explanation but we are not sure what it is. We can say it because for 2000 years temperature has varied up and down for some reason, probably or possibly due to some activity by the sun.
