You are potentially right, my feeling is that he has a couple of scientists in LH who main purpose is maintaining the corporate knowledge for Silex but may also doing broader experimentation. It is important that Silex maintains its corporate knowledge so that it is fully aware of GLE obligations within the agreement and that Silex is properly holing them to those obligations.

I think the arguments that the technology cannot be scaled up are well and truly redundant. We are too far progressed (including negotiation with DOE) for that to realistically be a possibility anymore. The remaining questions are whether the benefits justify the capital outlay. For me it is not so much if but when and the more positive / expansive the nuclear industry becomes the quicker the when will happen.
