Ronz, more likely the version of the story you were told is not the version of the story the company wants portrayed.

Even with an AGM vote to change the company’s nature, I think there’s a lot of water still to go under the bridge on this one. And either way you look at various options for the company, getting out of this position will cost it in time and (heaps of) money.

Others have raised the issue of the Executive Chairman’s pay. I think it entirely appropriate for his pay to be suspended. However he doesn’t seem to me to be the type of character who would do this.
