Have essential question time for one period a Week.
Things are only going to get worse, soon kids will be starting with "big subject school" from the age of two, mother and father will be working all day and just putting the kids to bed at night. Before they know it their kids will be brought up by the flavour of the day and wont even realise what has happened, they will have strangers (in the sense of values and customs anyway) as children IMO.
