To say it was a 50-50 call because there are two options for outcomes is a bad understanding of probability, people have assigned weight to the outcomes in making their decision so it's not 50-50. You may know a lot about oil but in the medium term your predictions based on your knowledge have been wrong. You say you haven't mentioned a price but your sentiment has definitely been buy.
I dare say your sentiment has been influenced by your position as a holder more than your knowledge. I suggest you read "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman particularly chapter 19 - The Illusion of Understanding.
Good luck, your posts are generally good and informative, don't get me wrong. I'm sure STO will eventually get on a run higher but the big question is when?
