Many months ago now received a commission to carry out an asbestos audit on a property in Brisbane. Looked like an ordinary commercial office/warehouse structure on arrival and there were no Co names out front. Inside it turned out I was at Metal Storm where I went through a long process of signing, signing and more signing. And then I had an escort for the whole procedure. I knew the building had no asbestos; too new; so I could just look around. Of course I had been indirectly involved with MST as a shareholder in Charter Pacific all those years ago; long since out but at the time of this inspection had something like a million shares in MST itself (bought very cheap).But what was terrific was to actually see lots of hardware after all those years of just seeing the videos etc. What a sad end to a wonderful concept. Although to be honest, when I bought CP originally, I remember asking myself, did I really want to be interested in death, or the sorts of things MST produced? And I have so little room in that bottom drawer. Cheers jwt
