Perhaps your bitching to the company prompted some action or maybe it was just that the SP had reached their uncle price.
Baring more sinister motivations for the buyback, it looks like management thinks its shares were worth at least $1.72 on Friday. We can only hope they have some idea. However, the average buyback price prior to Friday was $2.247, so maybe they are just guessing like the rest of us. They can buy mine for $2.247!!!

I am looking at a sea of red except for NST, EZL, PME and LGD.
Considering that the Greeks would be laughing if they were relieved of $200 billion in debt, that pales into insignificance compared to the amount wiped of world market caps since last Monday, which is more like $2000 billion plus. That suggests that either Mr Market is attaching a significance to the Greek situation, which goes way way beyond the debt, or else he is worried about something else as well.
