China has a billion people, state owned banks, companies, foreign investment, r &d, universties, science and techlogy, europe, japan, south korea, taiwan, hong kong.
manufacturing is a very small part of the us economy, very high wages + dollar !
granted the us gov can outspend china on military !!!
