Salk scientists develop drug that slows Alzheimer's in mice

Genentech, Salk find new mechanism that may lead to Alzheimer's disease
Note, Marc Trevor Tessier-Lavigne is a neuroscientist who is president of The Rockefeller University in New York City. He was formerly executive vice president for research and the chief scientific officer at Genentech. It appears that Salk Institute and Genentech have been working on this drug for quite a few years.
