it is clear NATO and the UN arent going to get involved outside of sanctions.

i feel for the innocent people on both sides of the war and i dont want people to die needlessly.

I disagree. The free world has enormous skin in the game and simply cannot allow Putin to win this one. It may last for years but ultimately Russia will be bled dry. Reduced to begging China for help and isolated with no one else to turn to. This is the end for Russia as we have known it.
