Good post and agree with the sentiment. Seems just too big a resource to walk away from and with the the RIO/BHP tie up the Chinese may still want to secure supply. Life does still go on and the Chinese will be looking long term.

Only point I might disagree is the comment on CP. Do you think that given his financial position he is greedy or do you think that it's more about influence and power. Do you think Warren Buffet and Bil Gates are greedy or just good businessmen. Furthermore, like WB and BG, CP has been quite charitable.
