I am doubtful on cracking $1300 tonight. As for the job numbers, the greater percentage has been the low paid 3 or 4 hour a shift service jobs. They boost the job numbers but don't put enough money in the economy to boost consumption. 70% or so of the USA economy is consumption bade. If it was not for cheap gas for the US citizens the figures would be worse.
