I wouldn't be to concerned with someone shorting MEO. If you look at the chart it certainly is in a down trend. This is just someones take on MEO, and to short that amount of shares does not require as much capital as it takes to buy MEO shares outright.

The only positive to take out of someone shorting MEO is the fact that when the announcement comes and if MEO rallies strongly, anybody who has shorted MEO will have to BUY MEO back. This will assist MEO holders with a stronger rally.
