Have always enjoyed your posts, both when u were abroad, and since your return. This post, probably your longest, greatly impressed me. You are very fair minded, aware of history and trends and most of all view the future with an holistic standpoint.
Integrity such as yours is increasingly absent in public life, but something tells me you would burn up in that furnace for frustration.
I'm glad you gave hemplady an audience. Sadly so typical that for her it's all or nothing. She's no orphan.
