    In the real world we live in, not the fairy land the trade unions and their minions appear to live in...wouldn't it form a big part of your "Duty of Care" to know and understand the terms and conditions and any consequences of avoiding an existing contract or agreement when you wish to take control of that contract?

    Would you or I bid for control of a multi million dollar business with existing contracts and not make sure we are aware of any obligations or contingencies attached to those contracts BEFORE we bought in and tried to make changes?

    If the Victorian taxpayer have to pay compensation of any sort due to the ALP's misleading statements prior to the election and action post election then the ALP themselves should be forced to pay the compensation bill...not the taxpayer.
    That would be a fair and just outcome...not saddle innocent bystanders and / or shareholders with a massive compensation bill.
