If the "woke" stuff actually increased revenue, there would be a case for it. But with this kind of business it is immediately apparent that it would be directly reducing revenue. Why you would ever anger a portion of your customer base is beyond me.
I actually don't really know what it means, but in the context I use it I refer to "woke" as political statements supportive of any side of politics, which loses shareholders money by angering consumers.
It seems to have some american context I don't fully understand so perhaps someone can elaborate a bit more to me, but if you're all using the word to refer to the bad business decisions then I agree, it has no place in business. Corporations should make money.
