thanks POS - you have highlighted all the reasons I have watched PYC for quite a while. I'll contact the company to understand the cashflow issues at some stage.
Do you know if they are presenting in Syd? I saw the Melb time and date but not a Syd one.
Didn't know trade sale was on the cards. I do know 1 big pharma ran the ruler over it a couple of years ago and decided not to buy but life moves on and maybe they are more attractive now - the SP doesn't indicate that though.
The most difficult thing to find in biotech is a genuinely commercially savvy operation that isn't just a bunch of scientists saving the world in a test tube chewing through shareholders equity on salaries, lab coats and bunsen burners.
You know my favorite - they have 1 objective and that's sales and contracts now - not inventions. PYC has the attraction of potentially being the future but big Pharma sign '100m+ contracts' that actually only cost them a fe million at most to option the technology - this seems to be the case here too - they can walk away for a few mill along the way if it doesn't work and they opt in if it does. Shareholders in PYC take all the risk. That graph in the presentation showing the cumulative potential revenue of the deals makes me sick - and it is so obvious that the market hasn't fallen for it. Unfortunately it makes management appear spivvy.
