Most gold miners in US and Canada on Friday were flat at best even though gold was pushing through 1480. I didn't see conviction of buyers on gold miners. You can see it for yourself - NEM, AU, ABX, GG, KGC

Toronto exchange TSX is very much like ASX where miners are dominant players and it fell to the close on Friday. TSX actually has more gold miners than ASX.

Just be cautious and take profit if it's high enough.
