Dow Jones] Canaccord sees a case for Aussie explorer FAR selling its best asset. FAR's share price has fallen around 40% since the discovery of the SNE field offshore Senegal in 2014, which ranked as the largest global oil discovery that year. That's puzzling because a development is clearly economic, the SNE field is fully appraised and it has got bigger with time. It's also being developed by a highly credible operator. "Predicated on the average transaction multiple and the value certainty a sale could provide, we believe that it could be in the interest of shareholders for a sale process to be explored if a raising of A$150 million or more is required," Canaccord says.
