At the moment the fate of A40 shareholders appears to be uncertain and will rely on the outcome of various court cases, regulators getting off their butts, and external decisions.

Just on this while we are here - I have seen a lot more noise from FIRB about the domicile and nationality of directorships of companies that are foreign-owned recently so I expect that this and some other cases have finally got the FIRB to start paying close attention to corporate structures that are in their purview. I expect cases like this and similar issues to come up more frequently in the future.
