Thanks for the reply foghorne.

I have always had an interest in making money, but have always directed that interest towards the property market and home ownership. Now that I am reasonably well on my way in that regard (although still with a small mortgage) I can now begin my foray into the share market!

Just bit by bit, and with no doubt comparitively small amounts of capital...

I will certainly be watching this space! And with some research and a little luck I might just be able to pay off that mortgage slightly sooner
