While LNG Canada may not directly help small operators to export their gas, it is expected to help them indirectly by removing the excess supply from the Canadian market and thus bring the domestic prices, which are deeply discounted now, closer to international prices. So potentially Calima, Pony, Saguaro and the likes can benefit significantly from the project. Moreover other new projects also are likely to be announced. While the present is depressing, future does look good.
