I note that during WWII and after, Canada took in, and gave new identities to, many SS Officers. During the war it was a convenient tactic to get SS Battalions to surrender to Canadian Forces, and it certainly worked!
I also note from after WWII through at least the 1980's, Canadian customs and other "law enforcement agencies" showed considerable bias against people of Roma extraction - even if the were US citizens and in the US armed forces.
Seems to me, that Nazis achieved positions of power there quite some time ago and remain in power today. Another Ukraine in the making.
