I know some of the more common posters here are from North America and there's no good board for TSX shareholders, so I'm asking here.
I searched the AKE/LIV presentation for mention of shareholders from Canada, but Toronto, TSX, Canada and a dozen other possible search terms gave 0 results. I did see this passage though (bold and underline from me):
"Under the terms of the Transaction, existing Allkem shareholders will receive one NewCo ASX listed CDI (or be able to elect to receive one NewCo NYSE listed share instead of a CDI) for each Allkem ordinary share held, except for shareholders in certain ineligible jurisdictions, who will receive cash proceeds from the sale of the NewCo CDIs in lieu of such CDIs after closing."
Anyone have any idea if AKE shares held in Canada that were converted from the old ORE shares are one of those ineligible jurisdictions?
