"Get-Up" organisation left wingers are running an anti-protest protest same day.
If you are passionate, as many as possible need to turn up - wherever you are coming from. One 85 year old woman is so up in arms she's going, and many others are in their 70's and 80's, and are white hot angry. Others are taking their kids - and accomodation is getyting short in Canberra. We need people power - don't leave it just to others!
Meanwhile, Greg Combet is sending out deceitful, misleading phamplets to his whole electorate mailing list telling all his electorate (taxpayers expense??) that this tax is a must, and is being brought in because ALL scientists are in agreement and concensus about the threats inherent in global warming, which is a fact. No, it is NOT a fact, Mr. Combet! More lies from this lying, conniving, Greens ruled party. How cynical can politicians get?
Without us, the voters, being consulted, given any warning, or being given the election which is our democratic right to decide this issue - we are to have this tax forced down our throats!
Gillard, Brown, Swan, Milne, Combet, are forcing this tax upon us - and will it ever be rescinded - never! So our kids and grandkids will inherit it - and it's a great money spinner to keep the Labor Party in power. Of course it'll end up in General Revenue, or finneled off to make up for their huge losses on other failed projects.
