It's the middle of July. Canberra half-way from Autumn
to Spring. The city is at the point of no return. We can't
go back from where we came. We have to push on but
I took great heart when I saw Jonquils blooming in our
garden in mid-winter in Australia's coldest city:
So I got busy pruning roses and fruit trees as
when Jonquils flower, Spring is on the way:
