You refuse to get this - it's been coming from a lab - a lab full of scientists who are funded. Gain of function has been referred to - gain what exactly??

Now the mutations are getting less deadly. OK. But that happened with the 1918-19 influenza virus.

And essentially the 1918-19 virus disappeared or has gone dormant or whatever term on wants to call it - perhaps eradicated??? And perhaps research will show that it in fact did not originate from Spain despite it's name. Research will also point to reasons of why so many died - the vaccine administered was a main contributing factor as people's internal systems went into hyperdrive and could not cope. As with stocks, there are those who upramp and those who downramp. I can't or won't tell anyone whether to sell or buy - there will be buyers as well as sellers every single day. Some wish to buy in cheaper so hoping for sp to dive and some will sell as they're happy with a profit or else sell out disgusted. Individual choice based on one's own risk appetite. Not too dissimilar to the vaccine merits or otherwise discussion. There is two big differences however:

1. With stocks you can lose your shirt or make a fortune but with vaccines you can lose your life and also possibly save it

2. With stocks you can choose freely subject to funding - with vaccines the choices involve coercion

Debate will undoubtedly continue with the pros and cons - even experts cannot agree thus how do you expect the commoners to?

May all the choices one makes be the right ones - though doubtful on that front. Besides, in order to learn one needs to make some mistakes - highly doubtful all one's share trades have been profitable.

Some wise person once said to me - learn to take the good and accept there will be some bad. Plus of course - live every day as if it was your last and don't go to bed with anger (especially with those dear to you). Some wise words indeed in this screwed up world. Best to you and all.
