GEM has probably had a poor response because the only way you can participate in the SPP is to right a cheque. I don't know why GEM would selected a share registry that only accepts cheques. When I went to fill out my form ...I had to go and see if I still had a cheque book. The last time I used it was 2009. Haven't they heard of Bpay etc.
